What We
Grow
Apples
Grown in the cool highlands of Nyandarua, our apple orchard is carefully managed with proper pruning and soil techniques for long-term productivity.
Grapes
Our vineyard thrives in well-drained highland soils. Careful trellising and sunlight management ensure healthy vines and quality harvests season after season.
Avocados
We cultivate avocados as part of our diversified system, leveraging the moderate highland climate for a crop with strong local and international market demand.
Passion Fruits
Passion fruits offer quick returns and support crop diversity, supplying both local markets and juice processing industries year-round.
Dragon Fruits
A high-value emerging crop — visually striking and nutritious, with rising demand. We're expanding our specialty fruit production with this exciting addition.
Vegetables
We grow spinach and kale in our highland vegetable beds — nutrient-rich, consistent yields for local markets and household use.
Vermicomposting
We run a dedicated vermicomposting unit where worms convert organic farm waste into rich vermicompost — a natural fertiliser that restores soil biology and improves crop health without chemical inputs.
We also harvest vermiwash, a potent liquid fertiliser extracted during the process, and apply it directly to our crops and orchards to support strong, natural growth.
This vermicomposting project was developed with the support and collaboration of Youture Foundation.
Staple Crops
Alongside our orchards, we grow staple crops that support soil health and build a resilient, self-sustaining farm system.
Maize
A cornerstone of our mixed farming system, supporting food security and soil diversity.
Beans
A nitrogen-fixing legume that naturally enriches soil fertility through our crop rotation.
Potatoes
Thriving in the rich volcanic soils of Nyandarua for high-yield, season-after-season harvests.
